Philosophy with Young People (an Educators' Workshop)
Young people are born curious, and encouraging them to think philosophically can build young people’s confidence, self-esteem, critical reflection, active listening, and reasoning abilities.
In this workshop for educators presented by Karen Emmerman, a professor and expert in K-12 philosophy education, learn the joy of bringing philosophy to young minds. We’ll discuss young people’s philosophical abilities, discover how doing philosophy differs from teaching philosophy, and gain tools that can help cultivate in young people a lifetime of curiosity and discovery.
