The Big Idea, Philosophy for Youth
We are all philosophers, we may just not know it yet.
From an early age we wonder what it means to be a good person. We search for meaning in life events, and seek out others to talk about life’s big ideas. How can we harness our curiosity to think more deeply?
Join Karen Emmerman, a professor and expert in K-12 philosophy education, for a welcoming, accessible philosophical discussion aimed at young people. Using a prompt from a book, artwork, piece of music, or film, we will explore important issues on the minds of those gathered and engage with others’ points of view. No previous experience with philosophy is required.
