Humanities Washington seeks community leadership
January 21, 2025
Humanities Washington is looking for volunteers to help realize our vision of a statewide humanities movement, where people from all walks of life work to understand each other and build stronger communities. YOU can get involved by joining the Regional Advisory Committee for your area!
In 2025, Humanities Washington celebrates its 50th anniversary of serving the state and regional committees are helping to plan local activities. Committee members help strengthen awareness of what Humanities Washington offers, advise on programming, and will assist with identifying community leaders for recognition and evaluate opportunities to support community groups with grant funding during our 50th. Meetings are held quarterly via Zoom.
Our five regional committees are: Central Puget Sound, Northwest (including the north Peninsula, Islands, and Whatcom/Skagit counties), Southwest, Central, and Eastern Washington.
