How do we look?

November 1, 2024

We have a new logo, a new website, and a new way to experience the humanities.

While we love our new look, we’re especially excited about enhancements to the website that will enable folks from a multitude of backgrounds and varying needs to participate in the humanities. Improvements include:

  • Text translation into ten languages, including Spanish, Vietnamese, and Mandarin. Click the tile on the lower left to translate.
  • Geolocation of events. Find only events near you on our events page.
  • Simplified navigation to help you easily find what you’re looking for.
  • A more robust home for Spark magazine.
  • Enhanced accessibility features (which meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1).

Through our new look, we’re showing the humanities are vibrant, exciting, and alive. Many thanks to the folks who helped design our new site with their great ideas and feedback, including trustees, partners, and audience members!

We’d also like to thank the team at People People for their work on the rebrand, and at The Medium for designing and building our new site. Let us know what you think by sending us an email at [email protected].
